My name is Ness. I'm a 'just turned 40' girl living in Auckland, NZ with my hubby and our 2 kittys. My hubby and I have been together for 18 years.
Well, we have been trying I guess you could say for around 12 years now. In 2005 after suffering heavy, painfull periods since mid-teen's I was sent for investigative surgery and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis as well as POS. I also have Type 2 Diabetes which complicates matters further.
We have undergone (suffered through) 2 failed attempts at IVF and right now I'm working on getting my Diabetes under the best control possible to maybe have our 3rd and last attempt at IVF. On top of my list of health complaints, IVF has shown that I also have poor quality eggs. So my chances of conceiving naturally or otherwise look extremely grim.
After a very late night pitty party (crying binge) I deceided to try and look up some kind of on-line support group and found this site.
I'd love to hear from others who are wading through similiar, what seem like hopeless times to share thoughts and support.
