I just found this support group, so I am not sure how it works. Hopefully someone can share there experience with me..all my friends are having babies, and I feel there is no one who understands how hard this is. My husband and I have only been trying for six months..I know that is not that long, but it is really starting to upset me. I am at the point where I break down everytime I have to go to a baby shower. Even going to church is difficult, because I spend the entire time looking at the babies. I need this support group to feel like there may be hope with this. |

Hi, I'm new to this site as well. I am 22 years old, which a lot of people say is too young to be worried about infertility. However, it hits me directly in the face each month when I start my period. My husband and I have been married for 9 months. We wanted children from the beginning. He comes from a family of 10, and having babies is a huge thing in their family. All I have ever wanted to do was be a mom. I've always had a lot of menstrual problems and pain. I am having a laparoscopy in two weeks to diagnose my problem. It is so hard. People tell me that I just need to relax, and give it time, etc, etc. I'm sure you've heard it all. I try so hard not to be jealous or upset, but I can't help it. All of my friends are having babies, all of my sister in laws are having babies. My one sister in law got pregnant on her wedding night. We are young and healthy, and it is so frustrating to be facing this. Maybe we can all help eachother. |
